King Tide flooding expected through remainder of week in Carolina Beach

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Flooding from King Tides is possible the remainder of the week in Carolina Beach.
Higher than normal tide levels will increase the flooding risk through June 7th.
Areas most often affected include Canal Drive, Florida Avenue, Winner Avenue, Carolina Beach Avenue North, and other low-lying areas.
Officials say some roads may be closed to traffic if flooding occurs.
You’re asked to use caution and obey traffic signs and/or barriers.
